Barcelona dia uno

When can I have my own plane?!?!?!?  I know…I know…not realistic.  However, when travelling with others you really wish they kept the same hygiene standards as you do, seriously!  An older gentleman 2 rows up, I’m sure had not used deodorant for many, many, many years, and the rest were going to know it about it.  I was so thankful when he finally stopped putting luggage into the bin and sat down with his arms next to him so the odor stopped drifting our way.  We also ended up with the very last row which was kind of nice being that close to the bathroom, however, everybody hovers over you while THEY are waiting for the bathroom…..and in the middle of a sleepless flight…they were invading my space!  Our flight was good…the FA’s, amazing young people based out of Montreal, they were fun and upbeat, dancing in the back in the middle of the flight with us, who says AC is all bore and bitchy!

But, it is all worth it, here we are in beautiful Barcelona.  Our hotel, amazing, right in the centre of the action.  We unloaded and went out to see where we were, and the first few pictures show how tired we were.  But you just can’t go in and lay down if you want to get onto their schedule, so we graced everybody with our jet-lagged appearance, and pleasant demeanour.

Came back for a nap around 5’ish…for 45 minutes (alarm set)….and slept until 8’ish….every time I woke up I thought just one more minute….then an hour later….it was so wrong….but felt so right!

We found an amazing place for dinner and had pescatore paella, and were just like everybody who is anybody,(except we weren’t) eating at 9….

  1. Looks amazing! Sangria, Paella, beautiful clouds, and expensive ham! What could be better! Also, I am not one of your “cat people”. But love you and keep the posts coming!
