Pee and Socks

Laundry a la Rick.

This is from our time in Sorrento.  We do laundry everytime we stay in a hotel for more than one night, and we had 3 nights in Sorrento, so we did it all.  This means that to dry, we put socks underwear etc., absolutley everywhere that looks like a drying rack.

A towel rack usually makes an excellent one, except when it is over the toilet. 

Rick tells me in the morning that he woke up in the middle of the night, pees, and a sock falls into the toilet. First, I need to find out if this is my sock, it’s not, so I continue to listen.  He rinses it (water only) and hangs it back up.  Seriously, just rinses it, I then make him wash it just in case it comes into contact with anything of mine.  Afterwards…he makes an amazing discovery…it is our only true white sock.  After 2.5 weeks, our socks look pretty yucky….except for this one.  It is white as white can be.  Imagine that.
